For those who want more...

The RockinDoctor (RD) has been playing the drums since he was 10 years old. He
thanks his parents for getting him involved with music at an early age. RD took personal instruction from Yamaha/Sabian clinician Larry Levine of Saratoga Springs, NY.

Throughout his career he has had a strong interest in Jazz, and has played in the RIT Jazz
Ensemble in Rochester, NY. He was also a member of The Saratoga Springs Jazz Ensemble with Scott Underwood of Train and Pete Donnelly of The Figgs.

RD's love of music spans many different genres and it shows in his playing. He has played
in many original and cover bands. RD's playing has progressed since his first original band Hairdoo back in college. Hairdoo influenced him to become interested in original music.
He then went on to play with Dickie Nyquist, a 90’s alternative/classic rock band who played all over New York.

On Long Island RD joined original rock band 1 Black Shoe. While in 1 Black Shoe, RD has played many venues in the Tri-State area with bands such as Nine Days, Wheatus,
and Zebra. 1 Black Shoe also recorded many songs that have received local airplay and have had songs that were featured in the movie soundtrack for "The Family Web."

RD has played with Talkbox, Long Island's Premier Original Rock Band. In 2002,
Talkbox made it to the semifinals of the Long Island Music Festival and won the
WBAB Homegrown Live series at The Downtown in Farmingdale. Talkbox has
performed with national acts such as Firehouse and Zebra.
